SECUREX KAZAKHSTAN 2019: THE WHOLE SECURITY INDUSTRY OF CENTRAL ASIA ON ONE SITE

From April 24 through 26 of the year 2019, the 9th Kazakhstan International Exhibition titled Security, Safety, Rescue Means and Fire Protection - Securex Kazakhstan 2019 was successfully held in Almaty. Throughout the three days it took place, the exhibition was visited by 1,357 people from 19 countries of the world, 56% of whom were first-time visitors.

Securex Kazakhstan has reaffirmed the status of the largest sectoral event in the security industry of Central Asia. Every year, the exhibition shows an increase both in the number of exhibitors and that of visitors. This year, 68 participating companies from Kazakhstan, China, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and the Czech Republic took part in the exhibition, while the exposition area totaled 1,800 square meters.

The exposition consisted of presentations and seminars of such companies as EGIDA GROUP, Hikvision, Dahua Technology Kazakhstan, Alma Arsenal - Sibirsky Arsenal CJSC, GSE, Security Systems Byuro.K, INTANT, IEK GROUP, Rielta CJSC, CCIC Almaty, Nuri Kazakhstan, Ritm TC LLC, SET JSC PPP, TRASSIR-Almaty, Teko-Torgovy Dom and others. At their booths, the participants demonstrated absolutely new equipment in the fields of integrated security systems, CCTV and video surveillance, PACS, alarms and alarm alerts; fire protection equipment, fire-resistant materials for the security of large enterprises, shopping and business centers, industry and banking sector, medium and small-sized businesses as well as manufacturing companies.

The Securex Kazakhstan event also plays a role of a gateway for foreign companies and purchasers in the Kazakhstani security and safety market, allowing companies to grow and significantly increase their supplies to the domestic market. A special buyer's program, for instance, that was put into practice by the organizers of international exhibitions – Iteca company - included the visit of a delegation from Kyrgyzstan to familiarize them with the exposition and facilitate talks between the delegation and potential partners. The delegation was composed of 50 representatives of the largest enterprises for protection and safety, alongside with major purchasers.

An official delegation headed by the heads of fire protection service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the exhibition for the first time. They were presented with specialized fire-fighting equipment, movable on caterpillar.

Also, a delegation of the Academy if National Security Committee and Almaty Emergency Situations departments’ representatives was present during the exposition for the purpose of familiarization and improvement of professional skills.

Exhibitors commended the results of their participation in the Securex Kazakhstan Exhibition. Reviews of the exhibition debutants are of particular value. As noted by Zhaik Zheksebek, the Commercial Director of the Technogard company: «The exhibition was 100% justified, participating for the first time, our young company was able to find its potential client».

Another participant, Konstantin Mityushev, the head of the VEL division of the Omsk Electrotechnika i Avtomatika plant, explained why the company decided to participate in Securex Kazakhstan 2019: «We know that the exhibition is a key business platform in the field of security and fire safety in Kazakhstan. I want to note that many Kazakhstani companies are interested in our equipment, and we will now engage in negotiations on cooperation».

This year, the business events program has expanded significantly and included 8 events for industry professionals. The main focus was on the development of digitalization and innovation.

The great interest of professionals was aroused by the presentations of the new equipment by the Aegida Group of Companies, which included reviews on new products in the field of perimeter security, IHP-C gas fire extinguishing modules, FireStop, products for laying and additional insulation of electrical communications and answering visitors' questions. Professionals of the company also conducted training for specialists, followed by mandatory certification.

The Hikvision company conducted workshops on advanced technologies for filtering false alarms, TEKO held a seminar on fire systems. The Intant company reported on its innovations, video surveillance systems and the Orion ISO software. In addition, The Lider Company outlined the fire-resistant plastic pipelines for fire extinguishing systems.

The event was organized by the Iteca and Atakent-Expo Kazakhstani exhibition companies, together with The Aegida Group of Companies. The partner in visitor registration for the exhibition was the Hikvision company.

The project was officially supported by the Akimat of Almaty City, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Committee on Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Securex Kazakhstan 2020 international exhibition will open its doors on March 17 through 19 in the following year of 2020, will having prepared effective solutions in the field of security, safety and fire protection for exhibitors and visitors.

In the new season in 2020, the exhibition will once again become a key place where the development trends of the security industry will be set, new products will be demonstrated, and important settlements will be reached.
